Indian Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITy) ne inn sab ko 3 months ki dead-line provide kari thi new rules accept karne ke liye jo ki 25 May ko end ho gayi thi , lekin ab tak koi bhi social media platform ne ek bhi new rules aur guidelines accept nahi ki hai. New Intermediary rules 26 May ko effect me aa gaye th lekin inn sab social media platforms ne 6 months ka delay btaya hai Government ko new rules aur guidelines accept karne ke liye.

Twitter ke jaisa Indian made Social media platform jis ka name KOO hai, sirf ye hi ek platform hai jis ne new rules aur guidelines accept ki hai abhi tak. Isko Twitter ka Indian version bhi bolte hain.

Agar inn me se koi bhi social media platform new guidelines diye gaye time me accept nahi kar paa ti hai toh woh apna social media platform ka status kho sakti hai aur intermediaries ke protection ka status bhi kho sakti hai, iss ka bohut zyada risk hai. Lekin, Facebook ne yeh indicate kiya hai ki woh new IT rules aur guidelines ko follow karegi. “Hum aim karte hain unn provisions ko accept karne ki jo New IT rules me provide kiye gaye hain, aur hum kuch issues pe Government se bhi discussion karenge”. New IT rules ke according hum work kar rahe hain in ko implement karne ki aur operational process ko aur bhi zyada efficient bna ne ki.

Resident grievance officer ki appointment ek key requirement hai new IT rules aur guidelines ki.

February 25 ko Indian Government ne yeh announce kiya ki woh rules and regulation aur bhi tight kar rahi hai social media platforms ke liye, jo ki require karte unko koi bhi flagged content remove karne pe within 36 hours aur complaint register karne ki ek Indian based officer ko.
